Malayalam actor, producer and director Prithviraj Sukumaran was recently in Bangalore along with his team to promote his latest film which is all set to hit the screens on 30th of June.
‘Kaduva’ is a PAN Indian film primarily made in Malayalam and will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada simultaneously. The film stars Prithviraj, Vivek Oberoi, Samyuktha Menon and others in prominent roles.
Prithviraj along with Samyuktha came to Bangalore on Friday afternoon on a part of the promotional campaign and talked about the film. The film is based on a real incident and revolves around a rivalry between Kaduvakunnel Kuruvachan alias Kaduva , a rubber planter and a DIG named Joseph Chandy in 1990s.

Prithviraj says he has become the unofficial brand ambassador of Kannada in Kerala. ‘In the last six months we have distributed ‘KGF 2’ and ‘777 Charlie’ through our production house in Kerala. Both the films got good response and I have made a lot of money from these two films’ said Prithviraj.
The actor said ‘Kaduva’ is a very special film for him. ‘People of Karnataka have given a good response for my previous films. Many people have watched my last release ‘Jana Gana Mana’ in Bangalore. Because of this, we are able to release our films across India. The culture of PAN Indian cinema started from ‘Baahubali’. ‘KGF’ took it to another level. So, all the film industries have come not only come together, but also has become much bigger and wider’ said Prithviraj.
‘Kaduva’ is being directed by Shaji Kailas and jointly produced by Supriya Menon and Listin Stephen.
