Director Prem of ‘Jogi’ fame is known for his underworld films including ‘Kariya’, ‘Jogi’ and ‘Jogaiah’. Now the director is back after a long time with yet another tale of Bangalore’s underworld in his new film.
This time ‘Action Prince’ Dhruva Sarja will be playing the lead in this film being produced by Nisha Venkat Konanki under KVN Productions. The untitled film was launched in Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore.
As told earlier, the film is based on a true incident in Bangalore’s underworld which happened in the 1970s. Though the film is based on underworld, this is a family film says Prem.
‘As the film is set in the 1970s, we have to recreate the old Bangalore, for which we are planning to create two sets. The sets are under progress and Dhruva sports a different look in the film’ says Prem.
The sets will be erected and the shooting of the film will start soon. Meanwhile, Prem has planned to reveal the title of the film in the month of May.
William David of ‘Vikrant Rona’ fame has been roped in as the cinematographer. The other cast and crew of the film are yet to be finalised. ‘KVN 4’ is a PAN-Indian film to be released in five languages simultaneously.
