‘Dynamic Prince’ Prajwal Devaraj starrer ‘Mafia’ which started as a Kannada film initially will now be a multilingual film and the film will also be released in Telugu and Tamil apart from Kannada.
‘Mafia’ was launched in the month of December in Bangalore. Priyanka Upendra and ‘Duniya’ Vijay came over to the launch and wished the team a huge success. After that the shooting of the film started is in full progress and is expected to complete in next two months.
As the title itself suggest, the film is about a Mafia which has not been highlighted so far in the films. Prajwal Devaraj plays the role of Inspector D Satyanarayan who fights against this Mafia.
Prajwal Devaraj’s father Devaraj who is known for his cop roles, also plays a prominent role in the film. While, Prajwal is an inspector, Devaraj is seen in the role of Police commissioner in this film. A special set of a police control room was erected in Kanteerava Studios in Bangalore and a major chunk of scenes were shot there recently.
Apart from Prajwal and Devaraj, Aditi Prabhudeva, Sadhu Kokila and others are also a part of the star cast. The film is written and directed by Lohith, who had earlier directed ‘Mummy – Save Me’ and ‘Devaki’. The film is produced by Kumar B. Anoop Seelin in the music composer.
‘Mafia’ will be primarily shot in Kannada and will be dubbed and released in Telugu and Tamil as well.
