Ajay Rao’s latest film ‘Shokiwala’ is getting very poor response from the audience. Meanwhile, the actor has requested the audience to watch and promote the film.

‘Shokiwala’ was released on last Friday (April 29^th) across Karnataka. The film is the first out and out comic entertainer of Ajay’s career and the actor had pinned a lot of expectations on the film. However, his expectations have proved wrong in the first weekend. The film not only failed to impress the audience, but the opening was also very poor.

 Ajay who has seen nine failures in a row has accepted that ‘Shokiwala’ is indeed getting poor response from the audience. ‘There is no collection at the box-office. I can’t tell whether we have erred in promoting the film or the audience has lost interest in coming to theaters to watch the film. The audience has always been promoting good films and I hope in the coming days, more people come forward to watch the film’ said Ajay.

‘Shokiwala’ stars Ajay Rao, Sanjana Anand, Pramod Shetty, Sharath Lohitashwa, Aruna Balraj, Tabla Naani and others in prominent roles. The film is directed by debutante Jockey, while T R Chandrashekhar has produced the film under Crystal Park Cinemas.
