India’s ace standup comedian Kapil is all set to make his debut in OTT with a new show called ‘I am not done yet’ for Netflix. The new show will be streaming on the 28th of January. Meanwhile, a biopic on Kapil Sharma is all set to go on floors soon.
Kapil Sharma has quite an eventful life. From being a small time struggler in Punjab to comedy superstar, Kapil Sharma has seen a lot of ups and downs in his life. Now Mrighdeep Lamba of ‘Fukrey’ is all set o make a Biopic of Kapil Sharma.
The film which is being produced by Mahavir Jain has been titled as ‘Funkaar’. The film was officially announced on Saturday on the occasion of Lohri. Kapil is said to have appealed to the makers to make it as honestly as possible.
One of the highlights of the film is, Kapil himself will be playing his role in the biopic. Kapil has earlier acted in films like ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’, ‘Firangi’ and others. While, Kapil is seen in his role, most of Kapil’s colleagues are likely to act in the film.
More details about the film and its launch are yet awaited.
