With Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’ rescheduled to March 25th, many other big budget films have no other way but to reschedule their dates yet again. Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’ which was scheduled for April 01st, has now moved to April 29th.
Just a day after the new release date of ‘RRR’ was announced, ‘Acharya was also postponed. The team took to social media and announced the new date of release.
‘After a healthy discussion and on a mutual understanding, we would be releasing ‘Acharya’ on the 29th of April. As ‘RRR’ would be hitting the screens on the 25th of March’ read the tweet.
Earlier, ‘Acharya’ was supposed to release on the 04th of February. However, due to the Corona third wave, the film was postponed to April 01st. Now that all the big films are rescheduling their dates so as to not to clash with ‘RRR’, the makers of ‘Acharya’ have also rescheduled their release date and instead of 01st of April, will now be arriving on the 29th of April.
‘Acharya’ stars Chiranjeevi, Ramcharan Teja, Kajal Agarwal, Sonu Sood, Pooja Hegde and others in prominent roles and is scripted and directed by well known director Koratala Shiva. Manisharma is in charge of music, while Tirru is the cinematographer. The film is being produced by Chiranjeevi’s Konidela Production Company.
