Upendra’s nephew Niranjan is busy with back to back films. His ‘Namma Hudugaru’ is ready and is waiting for a release. ‘Superstar’ which was launched last year is under production. Now Niranjan has bagged yet another film called ‘Hunter’ which will be released in not only Kannada, but also other languages.

Niranjan will be teaming up with Vinay Krishna who had earlier directed Chiranjeevi Sarja’s ‘Seizer’. ‘Hunter’ marks his second film as a director and the film is produced by Trivikrama Saphalya under his Trivikram Productions.

Malayalam actress Sowmya Menon will be making her debut in Kannada with this film. She will be playing the female lead and the other artists are yet to be finalised.

The first look poster of the film was revealed on the occasion of Niranjan’s birthday (Aug 20) and the film is likely to be commenced in the month of September.

Music director Chandan Shetty who rose to fame with Dhruva Sarja’s ‘Pogaru’ will be composing the music for this film also.
