Nihal back with Vijay Sankeshwar’s biopic ‘Vijayanand’

Actor Nihal who was last seen in a horror film called ‘Trunk’ is back with a new film. The film which is based on the life of Padmashri Dr Vijay Sankeshwar will have Nihal playing the titular role.

The film was officially announced with a first look poster being released on Dr Vijay Sankeshwar’s birthday (August 02nd). The film is written and directed by Rishika Sharma who had earlier directed ‘Trunk’. Anand Sankeshwar, son of Anand Sankeshwar will be producing the film under the newly launched VRL Productions.

Vijay Sankeshwar is an Indian businessman and is the chairman of India’s largest logistics firm VRL Group. Vijay Sankeshwar launched the VRL Group in 1975 with one vehicle and went to become the owner of the largest fleet of commercial vehicles in India. He is also the owner of VIjayavani, a leading newspaper in Karnataka along with Digvijaya a 24/7 news channel operating from Bangalore. The film is based on the life of Vijay Sankeshwar and how he went on to become one of the successful businessmen of the country.

The film will be released in primarily made in Kannada and will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Well known music director Gopi Sundar, who has scored music for ‘Geetha Govindam’ will be composing the music for this film. Keerthan Poojary is the cinematographer.
