Tamil actor Nassar is not at all new to Kannada cinema. From Ravana Rajya which was released in the 80s, to ‘Victory 2’ which was released a few years back, the actor is seen in numerous roles in various films. Now the veteran actor is sharing screen space with Ramesh Aravind in ‘Shivaji Suratkal – The Mysterious case of Maayavi’.

Though Nassar and Ramesh have been friends for over three decades, the two could not act together in any film. Now for the very first time, Nassar and Ramesh are acting together and Nassar is playing the role of Ramesh’s father in the film.

Nassar will be seen in the role of Vijayendra Suratkal. He plays a retired Inspector General of Police and recently shot for a few days in Bangalore.

‘Shivaji Suratkal – The Mysterious case of Maayavi’ is the sequel of ‘Shivaji Suratkal – Ranagiri Rahasya’ released last year. Anup Gowda and Rekha who had produced the first part are producing the sequel also. Akash Srivatsa apart from writing the script is also directing the film. Nakul Abhayankar is the music director.

Apart from Ramesh Aravind and Nassar, Radhika Narayan, Raghu Ramanakoppa, Vidya Murthy, Meghana Gaonkar, Rakesh Mayya and Vinayak Joshi play prominent roles in the film.
