It’s been five years since a film of Sandalwood actor Srinagara Kitty has been released. The actor’s last release was ‘Silicon City’ which was released in 2017. Kitty is back with a new film called ‘Gowli’ and the teaser of the film was launched recently.

Kitty’s contemporaries in Kannada film industry were the chief guests of the event. Kitty’s long time friends and actors Ganesh, ‘Duniya’ Vijay, Prem and Prajwal came over to release the teaser and wish their friend a huge success. It had been a long time since the five friends were seen in an event together and ‘Gowli’ brought all of together on a stage.

‘Gowli’ is an action, sentiment film based on the life of Gowlis, a community who migrated from Maharashtra to Karnataka. The film tells how they fight against the atrocities on them. The teaser showcases Kitty in a different avatar and the guests appreciated the makers for a good experience.

‘It’s an electrifying teaser and my friend looks terrific in this one’ said Ganesh along with wishing the team. Vijay, Prem and Prajwal also lauded the efforts of the team particularly Shashank Sheshagiri’s background score.

‘Gowli’ was launched last year and the shooting is half way through. Apart from Srinagara Kitty, Pavana Gowda, Rangayana Raghu, Sharath Lohitashwa and others play prominent roles in the film. The film is written and directed by Soora, while Raghu Singham is the producer.
