Ganesh starrer ‘Gaalipata 2’ being directed by Yogaraj Bhatt is complete and has already been censored with an ‘U’ certificate. Now the release date of the film has been fixed and the film will be released on the 12^th of August on the auspicious day of Varamhalakshmi festival.

‘Gaalipata 2’ marks the fourth collaboration of Yogaraj Bhatt and Ganesh after ‘Mungaru Male’, ‘Gaalipata’ and ‘Mugulu Nage’. Though this is not the sequel to their hit film ‘Gaalipata’, the film has been titled as ‘Gaalipata 2’ as it forms in the same genre.

The shooting for the film started in 2019. However, the film got delayed due to various reasons and was completed in 2021. Now the film is ready and the team has recently released ‘Exam Song’ which went on to become a huge hit. The team is planning to start the promotions soon and release the film on the 12^th of August.

‘Gaalipata 2’ boasts of an ensemble star cast which includes Ganesh, Diganth, ‘Lucia’ Pavan Kumar, Ananth Nag, Sharmila Mandre, Vaibhavi Shandilya, Nishvika Naidu, Rangayana Raghu and others in prominent roles. The film is being written and directed by Yogaraj Bhatt, while Ramesh Reddy has produced the film under Suraj Productions. Arjun Janya is in charge of the music, while Santhosh Rai Pathaje is the cinematographer.
