Manvitha Kamath’s last film was ‘India Vs England’ which was released in early 2020. Though the actress has a couple of films lined up for release, due to the pandemic and lockdown, the release of the films have been postponed indefinitely.

Now Manvitha Kamath has signed a new film to be directed by P C Shekhar of ‘The Terrorist’, ‘Raaga’, ‘Style King’ and others. The new film is a romantic thriller based in rural background. Manvitha plays a village girl in the film who is not only bold and rustic, but also fights against the evils of the society.

Apart from Manvitha, the film stars mostly newcomers, with Nakul as the hero. The film is bankrolled by Venkatesh Gowda’s Naada Kiran Pictures. The shooting for the film starts from the 02^nd week of August in Bangalore, Mandya and other places.

P C Shekhar himself has scripted the film apart from directing it. Sachin Jagadeshwar has written the dialogues, while Sakthi Shekar an erstwhile assistant DOP Vaidi will be handling the cinematography. Arjun Janya who has been a permanent member in Shekhar’s team will be composing the music for the film.
