One day cinematographer Anaji Nagaraj called me and told me to go to Prajwal Lodge and meet director P N Satya. He said Satya is directing a new film and is in search of a new hero. When I went in the evening, producer M G Ramamurthy and Ramesh were sitting there. Ramesh saw me and immediately said that I am the hero of the film. Though he is not the producer, he has worked for the film. M G Ramamurthy also accepted and that’s how I made my debut as a hero’ said Darshan.
