The PVR Cinemas in Orion Mall witnessed a lot of political leader watching a film on Monday Night. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai along with his colleagues watched and praised the film.
Rakshit Shetty starrer ‘777 Charlie’ was released on Friday (10th June) across the globe and is getting good appreciation all over. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai, Revenue Minister R Ashok, Education Minister B C Nagesh and other political leaders watched the film. Rakshit Shetty and the team were present during the occasion.
Though the Chief Minister has been a part of many film events including ‘Madagaja’, ‘RRR’ and others, this is the first time that he is watching a Kannada film. Earlier, director ‘Jogi’ Prem had invited the Chief Minister to attend the premiere. However, the Chief Minister could not make it to the premiere due to various reasons. Now the CM has adjusted his busy schedule and has watched the film along with this Cabinet Ministers. The CM is in awe of the film and has praised it.
Basavaraja Bommai, who was very much emotional after seeing the film, said that he remembered his dog which died a few months back while watching the film. ‘I am a dog lover. I remembered my dog while watching this film. Now I have a new dog called Dia. When I get home, Diya hugs me like charlie’ said the Chief Minister. He also urged everyone to adopt stray dogs.
‘777 Charlie’ is directed by debutante Kiranraj and produced by Rakshit Shetty and and GS Guptha under the Paramvah Studios. The film stars Rakshit Shetty, Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B Shetty, Danish Sait and others play prominent roles in the film. Popular Kollywood actor Bobby Simha is seen in a guest role in the film.
