Sandalwood actor Kiran Raj has teamed up with ‘Bharjari Gandu’ director Prasiddh once again for a new film called ‘Sherr’ and the actor has undergone martial arts training for the film.
‘Sherr’ was launched on Wednesday morning at the Kanteerava Studios in Bangalore. The film is produced by Sudarshan Sunder Raj from Bidar and most of the team from ‘Bharjari Gandu’ has been retained for this film.
As the title itself suggests, the film is an out and out commercial entertainer with lots of action elements. Kiran Raj has undergone martial arts and kick boxing training for the film and will be showcasing his talent in the film.
The film is based on some true incidents and Prasiddh himself has written the story and screenplay of the film. Kiran Raj plays an orphan in the film and the story is mainly set up in APMC Yard. There is also a romantic track featuring Surekha, who has played a pivotal character in ‘Bharjari Gandu’.
Kiran Raj who is busy juggling between ‘Kannadathi’ serial and films says that he is happy to act in action films back to back. ‘’Bharjari Gandu’ had lot of action sequences in it. This film is also high in action and I am happy to play the lead role in this film’ says Kiran Raj.
The film stars Kiran Raj, Surekha, Tanisha Kuppanda, Sharath Lohitashwa, Yash Shetty, Bala Rajawadi and others in prominent roles. Gummineni Vijay is the music composer, while Kitty Kaushik is the cinematographer. The actual shooting for ‘Sherr’ starts from the 22nd of August.
