Yash starrer ‘KGF 2’ has been shattering recordings from the beginning. The film which collected a gross of 134.5 crores in India alone on the first day has collected 240 crores in total on the second day of its release.
‘KGF 2’ opened to raving reviews on the 14th of April. The film got released in 5000 plus screens in India and a 5000 thousand plus screens across the globe. Audience who were waiting for the release of the most anticipated film of the year flocked the theaters and the film got a humongous opening all over.
The trend continued on the second day also and the team has officially announced that the film has collected Rs.240 crores in India alone. Trade expert Taran Adarsh has called the film a Tsunami and said that the Hindi version of the film has crossed the 100 crore club in just two days. While the first day collection of the Hindi version was at 53.95 crores, the second day’s was 46.79 crores, which counts to 100.74 crores.
‘KGF 2’ stars Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and others in prominent roles. The film is written and directed by Prashanth Neel. The film is produced by Vijay Kumar Kiragandur of Hombale Films.
