Sandalwood actor-director who is back to Bangalore from the promotion of his latest film ‘Vikrant Rona’ has received a rare gift from ace cricketer Kapil Dev.

The former Indian skipper has gifted the actor with a vintage bat. The bat has the signatures of all the team members who played for Indian in the 1983 World Cup. Indian had won the World Cup that year.

Sudeep, who is a big fan of Kapil Dev is very much thrilled to receive a rare gift from his cricket idol and has thanked him for his gesture. Sudeep has said that he is feeling of being on the top of the world.

The actor-director had earlier presented and released the Kannada version of ’83’ in Karnataka a few months back. Kapil Dev had come to Bangalore along with other cricketers for the promotional event of the film held here.
