Off late there was no stiff competition between two films in Sandalwood. Come September 30^th and two biggies including Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara’ and Dhruva Sarja’s ‘Martin’ are all set to clash at the box-office.

The release date of Rishab Shetty’s new directorial venture ‘Kantara’ was announced recently. The film will be hitting the screens on the 30^th of September on the occasion of Dasara festival. Incidentally, Dhruva’s ‘Martin’ will also be releasing on the same day and the release date was announced two months back.

Now, Hombale Films which is producing ‘Kantara’ has fixed the same date for release. Hombale Films has marked two festivals for the release of its two films. While, ‘Raghavendra Stores’ will be releasing on the occasion of Varamahalakshmi Festival, ‘Kantara’ is fixed for Dasara.

‘Kantara’ is written and directed by Rishab Shetty. He plays the main lead in this film which otherwise stars Sapthami Gowda, Pramod Shetty, Achyuth Kumar and Kishore and others. Vijay Kumar Kiragandur of Hombale Films has produced the film. Ajaneesh Loknath is the music composer, while Aravind Kashyap is the cinematography.

‘Martin’ is a PAN-Indian film which is all set to release in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi simultaneously. The film stars Dhruva Sarja, Vaibhavi Shandilya, Sukrutha Wagle, Chikkanna and others in prominent roles. Which among the two biggies manage to woo the audience is yet to be seen in coming days.
