Kannada’s first virtual film ‘Made in China’ to release on June 17th

‘Made in China’ which has the distinction of being the first virtual Kannada film in Kannada and the third film in the world is all set to release on the 17th of June.

The film which has been shot through video call stars Nagabhushan, Priyanka Thimmesh and others. The trailer of the film was recently released in the Crystal Music channel of You Tube.

The film revolves around a software engineer who is struck in China during the Pandemic times. His apartment is sealed down because of a possible Covid attack. What all happens when he is house arrest forms the crux of the film.

Preetham Tegginamane who was the cinematographer of ‘Ayogya’, ‘Chamak’ and other films has turned director with this new flick. Preetham apart from directing the film has also written the screenplay and is in charge of editing and VFX also.

Speaking about the film, ‘There are only two virtual films in the entire world. Both of them were thrillers and were released in OTT. We wanted this film to be released in theaters also and we are releasing the film in mainly dramas. This is a family drama and is based on real life incidents’ says Preetham.

‘Made in China’ stars Ashwin Rao Pallakki, Aruna Balaraj, Ravi Bhatt and others in prominent roles. Vivan Radhakrishna is the music composer. The film is being directed by T R Chandrashekhar under the Crystal Park Cinemas production.
