Jaggesh gives a reward of Rs One lakh to Mysore Police

Jaggesh who had given a reward of Rs One lakh to the hangman of the Nirbhaya rapists a few years ago, has now given a reward of the same amount to the police team who nabbed the rapists of the Mysore gang-rape case.

Recently, Karnataka was shocked to hear the case of a gang rape in Mysore. A 22 year old MBA student studying at the Mysore University and her friend were attacked at Chamundi Hills late Tuesday evening. The girl was gang raped by six labourers from Tamil Nadu’s Tiruppur district. The incident created a furore in not only the state, but also the country.

Many celebrities including Jaggesh, Ramya, Pranitha Subhash, Tara, Shruthi, Harshika Poonachcha, Aditi Prabhudeva, Pooja Gandhi amongst others not only criticized, but also urged the Police to nab the culprits. The Mysore Police managed to nab five people in connection with the gang-rape on Saturday morning. After the police arrested the culprits, Jaggesh had announced that he will give a reward of Rs One lakh to the police team who nabbed the accused. Jaggesh along with his wife Parimala Jaggesh met Home Minister Araga Jnanendra on Saturday evening and handed over the cheque of Rs One Lakh.
