Star couple Samantha and Naga Chaitanya who has been limelight in the past few months for their alleged spit, has decided to part ways and has made an official statement about their separation on Saturday afternoon through social media.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have been married for over four years and off late there were rumours that they might get separated for various reasons. But both chose to be mum about the issue and did not respond to all the rumours. But finally on Saturday, both Samantha as well as Naga Chaitanya has announced that they are parting ways.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya issued a statement saying that, ‘To all our well-wishers, after much deliberation and thought, Chay / Sam and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on’ read the statement.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya first acted in the 2010 film ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. The film went on to be a good success and the duo went on to act in films like ‘Manam’, and ‘Autonagar Surya’. After their marriage in 2017, the couple acted in ‘Majili’ which is their last film.
