From the last one month, there were rumours that Sudeep starrer ‘Kotigobba 3’ might release on the 14^th of October on occasion of Dasara. However, no official confirmation was there on this regard. On Sunday, it has been finally announced that ‘Kotigobba 3’ will be releasing on the 14^th of October hereby clashing with ‘Duniya’ Vijay’s directorial debut ‘Salaga’.

‘Kotigobba 3’ was completed last year itself, but due to the pandemic the film’s release was delayed. Recently, Sudeep completed the dubbing for his portions in ‘Kotigobba 3’.

With the post-production of the film almost complete, the team was looking forward to release the film. However, the Government had given permission to screen films for only 50 percent occupancy in theaters. The makers were waiting for the Government to announce 100 percent occupancy and with the permission given recently; the team has officially announced the release date of the film.

‘Kotigobba 3’ is a sequel to ‘Kotigobba 2’ and is written and directed by debutante Shivakarthik. Soorappa Babu who had produced the ‘Kotigobba’ and ‘Kotigobba 2’ earlier, has continued the franchise with this film. The film stars Sudeep along with Madonna Sebastian, Aftab Shivadasani, Ravishankar, Shraddha Das and others in prominent roles.
