Ganesh starrer ‘Gaalipata 2’ being directed by Yogaraj Bhatt is all set to be released on the 12^th of August. Meanwhile, the trailer of the film has clocked in just 3 million views in 2 days.

‘Gaalipata 2’ trailer was first released in a pre-release event held on Sunday. The event was attended by Shivarajkumar, Upendra, Ramesh Aravind and others and Shivarajkumar released the trailer in the event. Later, the trailer was officially released in the Anand Audio channel of YouTube on Monday morning.

Its’ been two days since the release and the trailer has managed to garner only 3 million in two days, which is very less compared to the hype the film has garnered from the beginning. A couple of songs and the character introduction teasers of ‘Gaalipata 2’ have already become hit. However, the reaction for the trailer is not up to the mark and could have been much better according to the team. With such a poor response from the audience, the team is planning to promote the film aggressively in the next few days.

‘Gaalipata 2’ marks the fourth collaboration of Yogaraj Bhatt and Ganesh after ‘Mungaru Male’, ‘Gaalipata’ and ‘Mugulu Nage’. Though this is not the sequel to their hit film ‘Gaalipata’, the film has been titled as ‘Gaalipata 2’ as it forms in the same genre.

The film is being written and directed by Yogaraj Bhatt, while Ramesh Reddy has produced the film under Suraj Productions. Arjun Janya is in charge of the music, while Santhosh Rai Pathaje is the cinematographer. ‘Gaalipata 2’ boasts of an ensemble star cast which includes Ganesh, Diganth, ‘Lucia’ Pavan Kumar, Ananth Nag, Sharmila Mandre, Vaibhavi Shandilya, Nishvika Naidu, Rangayana Raghu and others in prominent roles.
