Prabhas starrer ‘Adipurush’, which is touted as India’s most expensive film made is complete. The team recently wrapped up the shooting for the film, which is scheduled for a release on 11th August 2022.
‘Adipurush’ is being directed by Om Raut who had earlier directed Ajay Devagan’s 100th film ‘Tanhaji’. Om announced that he will be making a film called ‘Adipurush’ which is based on the Ramayana. Though the film was announced last year, the shooting for the film started this February. After shooting for 103 days, the team wrapped up the shooting on the 10th of November.
Om himself took to twitter to announce the completion of the film. Earlier, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon completed their portions in the month of October. Prabhas completed his portions in the first week of November and now the shooting for the film is complete.
The film stars Prabhas in the role of Lord Rama. Kriti Sanon is Sita, while Saif Ali Khan is seen in the role of Ravana. Sunny Singh has essayed the role of Lakshmana in the film. The film is a PAN Indian film, made in Hindi primarily, but will be dubbed and released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. ‘Adipurush’ is being produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar and will be released in 3D.
