Danish Sait starrer ‘Humble Politician Nograj’ which was released a few years back has made a comeback silently. This time, it is not in the form of a sequel but in the form of web series. ‘Humble Politician Nograj’ has been streaming from Thursday (December 06th) in Voot Select.
‘Humble Politician Nograj’ is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Firstaction Studios and Danish Sait. The web series is written and directed by Saad Khan. The 10 episodic web series has been getting good response all over.
The web series is filled with unexpected twists and turns as the corrupt and chauvinistic Nograj sets out on a journey from being an MLA to vying for the most prestigious post in Karnataka, that of the Chief Minister.
Ace comedian Danish Sait will be seen as Nograj, a conceited and self-serving civil servant. The funny political series also stars Prakash Belawadi, Vijay Chendoor, Disha Madan and others in pivotal roles.
Danish Sait who made the character of Nograj not only popular, but also memorable says that the film was such a success and could not be stopped with just a film.
‘The series takes the drama a notch higher. While the theme is familiar, what the audience will enjoy is the satirical humour spiked with comic tardiness. All I can say is that the audience is in for a treat’ says the actor.
