‘Hope’ is all about transfer problems in Administrative Services

Shwetha Srivatsav starrer ‘Hope’ is all set to hit the screens on the 08th of July. Meanwhile, the trailer of the film was released by Minister of Higher Education Dr C N Ashwathnarayan.

‘Hope’ is a political thriller and Shwetha Srivatsav plays the role of a KAS officer for the first time in her career. The film portrays the various problems of Administrative officers in the political setup.

Speaking after the release of the trailer, ‘Transfer is one of the main problems of society. I hope this film creates awareness among the general public about the transfer system’ said Ashwathnarayan.

The Minister said Kannada film industry has a lot of potential and we should reach out to a larger audience. ‘We should show out films to the entire world. The Government is in full support of the Kannada film industry from the beginning and will continue the support’ said the Minister.

Shwetha Srivatsav plays a KAS officer in the film. She says she got connected with the film just after hearing the subject. ‘This is a very sensitive subject and a story which is to be definitely told. This film is an eye opener to the society. I am to share screen space with many talented actors of the Kannada film industry in this film’ says Shwetha.

‘Hope’ is being produced by acclaimed Billiards player Varshaa Sanjeev under Goldie Productions banner. Varsha has also written the story apart from producing the film. Debutante Ambarisha M has written the screenplay apart from directing it.

The film boasts of an ensemble star cast including Shwetha Srivatsav, Sumalatha Ambarish, Pramod Shetty, Prakash Belawadi, Gopalakrishna Deshapande amongst others. S Halesh is the cinematographer, while Ritvik Muralidhar is in charge of music.
