The film has been now released in Amazon Prime and the film has amassed 20 million streaming minutes in just 12 days on the digital platform.

Speaking about the film, ‘our film has been getting good response in OTT. Many people who have seen the movie are requesting for the re-release of the film in theaters’ says writer-director Ramenahalli Jagannatha.
‘Hondisi Bareyiri’ got the attention of the audience purely based on word-of-mouth as it didn’t feature big stars. The director has managed to string together various elements of college life smartly, all the while making it relatable. On the whole, the film kindles nostalgic moments and makes a feel-good watch with friends and family.
