Hombale Films the makers of ‘KGF 2’, ‘Salaar’ and others has joined hands with Malayalam actor Prithviraj for a new PAN Indian film called ‘Tyson’. The film was officially announced on Friday evening.
This is the first time that Vijay Kumar Kiragandur of Hombale Films is venturing into Malayalam cinema. Earlier, the producer had ventured into Tollywood with Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’. Now for the first time Hombale Films will be producing a Malayalam based PAN Indian film.
Prithviraj Sukumaran had earlier distributed the Malayalam version of ‘KGF 2’ in Kerala. He was also present during the first press conference of the film held in Bangalore along with Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and others. Prithviraj had wished the team and had said that he is looking forward for a long association with the production house.
Apart from ‘KGF 2’, Prithviraj will also be playing a prominent role in Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’. Prabhas himself had confirmed the news during the press conference of ‘Radhe Shyam’ held in Kerala. Now Prithviraj and Hombale Films has joined hands for the third time.
‘Tyson’ will be Prithviraj’s 4th film as a director after ‘Lucifer’, ‘Bro Daddy’ and ‘L2’. Murali Gopy has written the story and screenplay of the film. ‘Tyson’ will be originally made in Malayalam and will be released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously.
