Sharan is one of the most bankable stars of the Kannada film industry and many actresses throng to act with him. But there was a time when many heroines refused to act with the actor citing many reasons. 

Sharan himself has talked regarding this, during the pre-release event of ‘Avatara Purusha’ in Bangalore. 

‘As everybody knows, I was a comedy actor before turning into a hero. When I started acting as a hero, many heroines refused to star opposite me. So, producers started approaching Mumbai heroines for my earlier films. But there was a problem. Many of the videos of my earlier films, where I played a comedy artist, were available on Youtube. Most of the videos featured me being beaten by others. Many of the heroines who watched these videos refused to act with me. Though they had accepted to be a part of the film, they would reject it citing date issues. Nowadays, it is not such a big problem’ said Sharan.

He also thanked Ashika Ranganath for playing the female lead in the film. This is Sharan and Ashika’s second film after ‘Rambo 2’.

‘Avatar Purusha’ stars Sharan, Ashika Ranganath, Srinagara Kitty, Saikumar, Sudharani, Bhavya, Vijay Chendur, Ayyappa P Sharma and others in prominent roles. Arjun Janya is the music composer, while William David is the cinematographer. The film is written and directed by Simple Suni, while Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah is the producer.
