Well known director Zoya Akhtar is all set to bring the internationally acclaimed comic back characters Archie Andrews and his friends on the Indian screen. The film which has been titled as ‘The Archies’ is all set o be released in 2024 in Netflix.
One of the highlights of the film is Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, Shahrukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khana and Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor are all set to make their acting debut with ‘The Archies’.
Meanwhile, the team introduced the star cast by releasing the first look poster and the teaser of the film on Saturday the May 14th. The official poster and was shared through the Twitter handle of Netflix India. The teaser introduces the cast having a fun time in the woods.
The shooting for the film has already started on the 18th of April. The musical film which is set in 1960s India is being bankrolled by Tiger Baby and Graphic India.
Apart from Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor, the film stars Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda and Dot in prominent roles.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Jahnvi Kapoor and others celebrities have shared the poster of the film and has wished the kids on the block a bright future in Bollywood.
