Multilingual actress Genelia D’Souza is back to Sandalwood after 14 years. The actress will be playing a prominent role in Kireeti Reddy’s new film which was launched on Friday in Bangalore.

Genelia was last seen in Shivarajkumar starrer ‘Satya in Love’ which was released in 2008. The actress is back making a re-entry in Kireeti’s new film.

Genelia who is back to acting after a decade after her marriage with Ritesh Deshmukh expressed her happiness to be making a comeback. ‘I am back after 10 years and this is a special project for me’ said the actress not divulging any details about her role in the film.

The launch ceremony of Kireeti’s new film was held at The Taj West End Hotel in Bangalore and actor-director Ravichandran and ‘Baahubali’ fame director Rajamouli came in as chief guests and launched Kireeti.

The untitled film is being written and directed by Radhakrishna who had earlier directed ‘Mayabazaar 2016’. The bilingual film which is simultaneously being shot in Kannada and Telugu is produced by Sai Korrapati under Vaaraahi Chalana Chitra, which produced ‘Baahubali’.

The film has a strong technical crew with K K Senthil Kumar handling cinematography, Devi Sri Prasad aka DSP as music composer and Peter Hein as action director.
