Kannada actor ‘Golden Star’ hosting a new reality show for Zee Kannada is not new. The news first broke out in September last week. However, due to various delays the program is launching on Saturday (08th January).

The reality show which has been titled as ‘Golden Gang’ will be aired in Zee Kannada on Saturday and Sundays at 9 PM.

 ‘Golden Gang’ is all about friendship and the first episode of the program features ‘Nenapirali’ Prem Sharan, Tarun Sudhir. Prem, Sharan and Tarun are known as good friends in Sandalwood and the trio talks about their friendship.

The next episode of ‘Golden Gang’ is said to feature the ‘Mungaru Male’. Though Ganaesh made his debut as a hero through ‘Chellata’, it was ‘Mungaru Male’ that catapulted him to success. Ganesh, Yogaraj Bhatt, writer Preetham Gubbi, cinematographer S Krishna, lyricist Jayanth Kaikini and music director Manomurthy from the ‘Mungaru Male’ team will be featuring in this episode.

A special set for the ‘Golden Gang’ has been erected at the Kanteerava Studios in Bangalore and the shooting for the program will be held every week there.

This is Ganesh’s second reality program after ‘Super Minute’ which was aired in Colors Kannada. Ganesh had hosted three season of the ‘Super Minute’ and is now hosting ‘Golden Gang’.
