Puneeth Rajkumar’s dream project ‘Gandhada Gudi’ a documentary about Karnataka’s wildlife, which was released on the 06th of December coinciding with the birthday of Puneeth’s mother Parvathamma Rajkumar has crossed 3M Views in just two days.
Puneeth has been working on the documentary which explores Karnataka’s wildlife and adventurous journey of the actor along with wildlife photographer and filmmaker Amoghavarsha. The film is all set to hit the screens next year.
‘Gandhada Gudi’ is the dream project of Puneeth Rajkumar and has been in the making for the last one year. Puneeth along with Amoghavarsha has been exploring many part of Karntaka for this venture and had planned to release the teaser on the 01st of November, coinciding with Karnataka Rajyotsava. However, due to his untimely death, the teaser was pushed a month later on 06th of December.
The teaser was welcomed in a grand style by not only his fans but from celebrities from the film fraternity. ‘I remember the twinkle in your eyes every time you spoke about this project. Many other celebrities including Rakshit Shetty, Rishab Shetty and others have lauded Puneeth and his effort in portraying the rich culture of Karnataka. Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai who has also appealed that Puneeth’s dream project must reach everybody.
The title ‘Gandhada Gudi’ is derived from the Dr Rajkumar’s blockbuster film which was released in 1973. The film was based on the importance of protecting the jungles and wildlife.
