The ninth edition of ‘Big Boss’ anchored by Sudeep is all set to be launched in the month of August. This time the popular reality show will be first streamed in OTT in October end.
Last year, the Hindi version of the ‘Big Boss’ anchored by Karan Johar was first streamed in OTT followed by television. The same format was continued in other languages. Now the Kannada version of the ‘Big Boss’ will be streamed in Voot followed by Colors Kannada.
The OTT version is a 24/7 non-stop show and will have one hour daily episode on Voot like the original edition. The OTT version will be stipulated only for 42 days after which the television version will start. Many contestants from the OTT version will be continued in the television version.
Last year, Manju Pavagada who is fondly known as Lag Manja won the eighth edition of ‘Big Boss’. Manju received a trophy along with prize money of 53 lakh rupees. K P Aravind who gave a neck to neck competition to Manju was the first runner. Divya Uruduga, Vaishnavi and Prashanth Sambargi were the 03rd, 04th and 05th runners respectively.
