Exclusive: ‘777 Charlie’ digital and satellite rights sold for 21 crores

Rakshit Shetty starrer ‘777 Charlie’ is all set to release on the 10th of June. Meanwhile, the satellite and digital rights of the film have been acquired by Colors Kannada and Voot for a whopping 21 crores.

The team of ‘777 Charlie’ is expected to officially announce the sale of the digital and satellite rights in its social media platforms.

‘777 Charlie’ is a PAN Indian film to be released in five languages. Meanwhile, the Kannada version of the film has fetched the producers 21 crores. While, Colours Kannada has bagged the satellite rights of the film, its digital partner has acquired the digital rights.

Sources say, the producers are in profit with this deal alone as the film is made on a budget of 15-20 crores. The film is being produced by Rakshit Shetty himself under the Parmvah Studios banner and Shetty is said to have not taken taken remuneration for the film. The budget includes only making cost and Rakshit Shetty is in profit in the first deal itself. Rakshit still has the satellite and digital rights of other languages, apart from theatrical rights in India and overseas, which is expected to give him great returns in the coming days.

‘777 Charlie’ revolves around a youth called Dharma and a dog Charlie. Apart from Rakshit Shetty, Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B Shetty, Danish Sait and others play prominent roles in the film. Popular Kollywood actor Bobby Simha plays a cameo in the film.

The film is directed by debutante Kiranraj and produced by Rakshit Shetty and and GS Guptha under the Paramvah Studios. Nobin Paul has composed the music, while Aravind Kashyap is the cinematographer.
