‘Sandalwood King’ Shivarajkumar has said that every film can’t be a ‘KGF 2’ and the audience likes to watch all kinds of films and not only big films.
Yash starrer PAN Indian film ‘KGF 2’ which was released on the 14th of April was a huge blockbuster and the film managed to collect more than 1200 Crores at the box-office. The film is now streaming on Amazon Prime from the 03rd of June.
After the release of ‘KGF2’, there was a huge dearth of the audience and there was a general opinion that the people are still in the hangover of the blockbuster and that is the reason why people are not coming over to theaters to watch films.
But Shivarajkumar is of a different opinion. He says that every film has its own audience and every film can’t be ‘KGF 2’.
Speaking regarding this, ‘I have seen many blockbusters in my careers including ‘Om’, ‘Jogi’, ‘Janumada Jodi’ and ‘Nammoora Mandara Hoove’. Such kind of films will come once in a while and every film can’t become such a hit. ‘KGF 2’ is also once in a lifetime films. If the audience expects every film to be a ‘KGF 2’, then what would happen to other films?’ questions Shivarajkumar.
Meanwhile, Shivarajkumar is looking forward for the release of his latest film ‘Bhairagee’ which is all set to hit the screens on the 01st of July.
‘Bhairagee’ is directed by Vijay Milton. The film stars Shivarajkumar along with Dhananjay, Prithvi Amber, Anjali, Yasha Shivakumar and others. Krishna Sarthak is the producer.
