‘Drishya 2’ will be released in theaters and not in OTT says Ravichandran

Actor-director V Ravichandran says his latest film ‘Drishya 2’ which a remake of Malayalam hit will be releasing only theaters and not in OTT. The actor was speaking during a press conference of his film in Bangalore.

‘Drishya 2’ was launched last month and the shooting of the film has been completed in a span of 38 days in Banglaore, Coorg and other places. The team had organised a press conference on the last day of the shooting.

‘Drishyam 2’ was released in Amazon Prime and its Telugu remake is also heading for a OTT release. When asked about the release of the Kannada version, Ravichandran said that the film will be released in theaters once everything comes under control.

‘Theater culture is something I have always believed in. I have seen many successes in my carrier only through the big screen and ‘Drishya 2’ will also be released in theaters. Earlier, when ‘Drishya’ was released, the film brought back family audiences to theaters in a big scale. I hope the sequel of the film also does the same in these pandemic situations’ said Ravichandran’.

‘Drishya 2’ stars Ravichandran, Navya Nair, Ananth Nag, Sadhu Kokila, Aarohi Narayan, Lasya Nagaraj, Pramod Shetty in prominent roles. The film is directed by P Vasu and produced by V P Sarathi under E4 Entertainment who had earlier produced ‘Drishya’. G S V Seetharam is the cinematographer, while Ajaneesh Lokanath is in charge of music.
