The trailer of V Ravichandran’s new film ‘Drishya 2’, which a remake of Malayalam hit ‘Drishyam 2’ has been released and the release date of the film has also been announced. The film will be hitting the screens on the 10th of December.
‘Drishya 2’ was launched in the month of July and the shooting of the film has been completed in a span of 38 days in Banglaore, Coorg and other places. The shooting of the film got completed in August and after three months of post-production, the film is finally ready.
Recently, the trailer of the film was released by actor Sudeep in Bangalore. With the film almost complete, the makers have decided to release the film on the 10th of December. The date also marks the release of Sharan’s ‘Avatar Purusha’.
While, the Malayalam and Telugu versions of ‘Drushaym 2’ were released in Amazon Prime, Ravichandran was very much particular about the film getting released in theaters. During the press conference of the film, the actor said that he believes in theater culture and ‘Drishay 2’ will release in theaters only.
‘Theater culture is something I have always believed in. I have seen many successes in my carrier only through the big screen and ‘Drishya 2’ will also be released in theaters. Earlier, when ‘Drishya’ was released, the film brought back family audiences to theaters in a big scale. I hope the sequel of the film also does the same in these pandemic situations’ said Ravichandran. ‘Drishya 2’ stars Ravichandran, Navya Nair, Ananth Nag, Sadhu Kokila, Aarohi Narayan, Lasya Nagaraj, Pramod Shetty in prominent roles. The film is directed by P Vasu and produced by V P Sarathi under E4 Entertainment who had earlier produced ‘Drishya’.
