‘Challenging Star’ Darshan’s brother Dinakar Thoogudeepa directing a film for Viraat of ‘Kiss’ fame is not new. The untitled film was officially launched on Monday in Bangalore.

If everything had gone right, Dinakar was supposed to direct a film for Puneeth Rajkumar to be produced under Jayanna Combines. However, due to the sad demise of Puneeth, the film has been shelved. It was announced in March this year that Dinakar would be directing another film for the same production company.

Dinakar who was busy with the scripting of the film has finally completed it and has launched the film on Monday. Dinakar’s mother Meena Thoogudeepa was present during the launch and sounded the clap for the first shot of the film. Producers Jayanna and Bhogendra were also present on the occasion.

This will be 23^rd film from Jayanna Combines and the shooting for the film will start soon. Charan Raj is the music composer, while Sanketh Mysore is the cinematographer.
