Dhruva Sarja starrer ‘Martin’ is all set to hit the screens on the 30th of September across India. If sources are to be believed, then the release of the film is likely to get postponed due to various reasons.

‘Martin’ was launched in October last year and the team completed major portions of the film in Bangalore, Kashmi and Hyderabad. The shooting for the film should have been completed by now, but sources say a lot of changes have been made in the script post ‘KGF 2’ and the team is busy shooting the additional sequences. With two and half months left for the release and the pressure mounting up, the makers have decided to postpone the release of the film from 30th September to  a further date.

One more reason is also cited for the film’s release. ‘Martin’ was the first film to be announced to release on the 30th of September. Later, Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara’ and Jaggesh’s ‘Thotapuri’ was also announced on the same date. Apart from these two films, Maniratnam’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyan Selvan’ has also been announced on the same date. With so many competitions around, the team is planning to postpone the film.

However, Dhruva wants to release the film on the same date as promised earlier. But the team is yet to take a firm decision regarding the release and an announcement is expected from the team soon.

‘Martin’ is written and directed by A P Arjun. The film stars Dhruva Sarja, Vaibhavi Shandilya, Sukrutha Wagle, Chikkanna and others in prominent roles. The film is being produced by Uday Mehta. Satya Hegade is the cinematographer, while Mani Sharma is the music director.

‘Martin’ is a PAN-Indian film which is all set to release in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi simultaneously. The film is being produced by Uday Mehta under Vasavi Movies banner.
