Dhananjay and Rachita Ram starrer ‘Monsoon Raga’ which was supposed to release on the 19th of August has been postponed yet again. The team has said that a new release date would be announced soon.
This is the second time that the film is being postponed. Earlier, the film was supposed to release on the 12th of August along with ‘Gaalipata 2’. However, the film got postponed to 19th of August. Now the film has been postponed from that date also.
The makers says due to delay in the post-production of the film, the film has been postponed. Though a new date has not been announced, producer Vikyath says the film will be released in the month of September.
Vikyath however rubbishes that the film has been postponed because of financial reasons. ‘There are rumours that we are facing financial problems and that is the reason for the postponement of the film. We don’t have any problems and the satellite and digital rights of the film has already been sold. We are experimenting a new technology through this film and that is the real reason for the delay. As it is taking a lot of time, the release has to be postponed’ says Vikyath.
‘Monsoon Raga’ stars Dhananjay, Rachita Ram, Suhashini, Achyuth Kumar, Yasha Shivakumar and others in prominent roles. The film has been written and directed by Ravindranath, who had earlier directed Ramesh Aravind’s ‘Pushpaka Vimana’. Anoop Seelin is in charge of the music.
