Darshan’s comments about late actor Puneeth Rajkumar has irked the latter’s fans and they have decided not only to boycott Darshan’s upcoming film ‘Kranti’, but also to stop the release in few places.

Darshan was recently speaking during an interview on the occasion of Varamahalakshmi Festival. While speaking about the reaction he has been getting for his upcoming release ‘Kranti’ the actor’s worked has irked Puneeth’s fans.

‘I am very much overwhelmed by the reaction of my fans for ‘Kranti’. The way they are celebrating the film is really great. Puneeth could not see the love and celebration the fans showed towards him after his death. I am happy that I could see their love and celebration while I am alive’ said Darshan.

The actor’s comments have not gone quite well with Puneeth’s fans and have irked the late actor’s fans. Particularly, the comment where Darshan said that Puneeth’s fans celebrated his death has made the fans really upset. Many of the fans are demanding apology from Darshan for making such a remark. Fans of Puneeth from Hospet have also decided to stop the release of the film in the city, unless Darshan apologises.

Meanwhile, fans of Darshan are supporting their favourite actor and there is a clash of words between the two actor’s fans in social media for the past two days. Darshan has not commented anything further regarding this issue.
