The speculations about Sudeep’s next film have finally been answered. Sudeep will be acting in a new film to be directed by Kollywood director Venkat Prabhu. The film is expected to be officially announced on Sudeep’s birthday (September 02^nd).

After ‘Vikrant Rona’, Sudeep had not signed any film and there were many speculations about what would be his future course of action. Earlier this year, there was news that he would act opposite Pawan Kalyan in the Telugu remake of Malayalam hit ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. However, Rana Daggubati was roped in for the project.

In the last few weeks there were news that well known director Venkat Prabhu of ‘Chennai 6000028’, ‘Goa’, ‘Mankatha’ and ‘Maanaadu’ might direct Sudeep in a new film. However, there were no confirmations regarding the same. Now, Venkat Prabhu himself has announced that his next will be with Sudeep. Venkat Prabhu recently met Sudeep at his residence. After the meeting, Venkat tweeted confirming his film with the actor. ‘What a wonderful hospitality! Thank Q chief! U r an amazing cook! Looking forward for our next. Advance happy birthday!’ wished Venkat Prabhu and also shared a photo of the dish that Sudeep prepared for him.
