Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar who breathed his last on Friday was cremated at the Kanteerava Studios in Bangalore on Sunday morning. The final rights took place in the presence of his family members, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and many celebrities from the family fraternity.

Meanwhile, many of the stars from Kannada film industry including Yash, Dhruva Sarja, Ganesh, Ramya, Rakshitha, Radhika, S Narayan, Gurukiran, Nagatihalli Chandrashekhar, Sunil Kumar Desai and others visited Kanteerava Stadium, where Puneeth’s body was kept for public viewing.

Not only celebrities from the Kannada film industry, but many stars from the neighbouring Telugu and Tamil film industries also paid their last respects to the late star. Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Ali, Jr NTR, Ranadaggubati, Prabhudeva, Nagendra Prasad and others paid their last respects to the actor.

Fans of the actor thronged the Kanteerava Stadium from Friday night and it is being said that more than 10 lakh people from different parts of Karnataka paid their last respects to Puneeth Rajkumar.
