Sandalwood actress Chaitrsa Achar has been roped into play the female lead in Nagaraj Somayaji’s ‘Atakataka’.

‘Atakataka’ was announced a few months back. However, the cast and crew of the film were not finalised. Now Chaitra Achar has been selected as the female lead of the film.

Chaitra will be essaying the role of Janaki, a positive girl in the film. What happens when a girl who takes life positively enter the life of the hero forms the crux of the film.

Chaitra made her debut with ‘Mahira’ and has wooed the audiences with her performances in films like ‘Gilki’ and ‘Taledanda’. Now Chaitra has bagged a different role and is looking forward to act in the film.

Nagaraj Somayaji who had earlier produced Sanchari Vijay starrer ‘Puksatte Lifeu’ is turning director with this film. Nagaraj has written the story and screenplay apart from directing the film.

‘Atakataka’ is likely to be launched in the month of May. The cast and crew of the film are yet to be finalised.
