Brahmanandam, a Guinness Record Holder for acting in highest number of films is back to Sandalwood with a new film called ‘Usire Usire’. This is his 1254^th film as an actor.

Brahmanandam is not new to Kannada cinema. The actor had earlier acted in films like ‘Ninnindale’, ‘I Love You’ and others. It’s been nearly three years since the veteran actor had not acted in any Kannada film. Now Bramhandam is essaying the role of a playwright and stage actor in the film. The actor participated in the shooting held in Bangalore on Tuesday.

Speaking during the press conference, the actor remembered late actor Dr Rajkumar. ‘Dr Rajkumar is one actor who acted in all kinds of roles and films. Whether it is historical, social or Cowboy types of films, he fitted into every character he played. The other day I was talking to his son Shivarajakumar and he told me that Dr Rajkumar used to tell him that he is my fan. Shivarajkumar recalled that Dr Rajkumar regularly watched the comedy episodes of my films. It is a great honour for me. I am really blessed’ said Brahmanandam.

Brahmanandam said that it was actor Ali who convinced him to take up this role. Ali is also playing a prominent role in the film and he was also present during the press conference.

‘Usire Usire’ stars Rajeev of Celebrity Cricket League and ‘Big Boss’ fame along with Brahmanandam, Ali, Manju Pavagada and others in major roles. The film is written and directed by C M Vijay and produced by Pradeep Yadav. The film which was launched by Sudeep a few months back is half completed.
