‘Bhramam’ to stream in Amazon Prime from October 07th

Prithviraj’s ‘Bhramam’ which is the remake of Bollywood hit ‘Andhadhun’ releasing in Amazon Prime is not new. The film was said to have a direct OTT release, but the date was not announced earlier. Now, the film will be streaming in Amazon Prime from the 07th of October.

‘Bhramam’ was launched in January this year and was wrapped up in March. The team had earlier planned a theatrical release. However, due to the pandemic, the film will have a direct digital release.

This is the third film of Prithviraj in a row to release directly in OTT because of the pandemic. Earlier, Prithviraj’s ‘Cold Case’ and ‘Kuruthi’ were released directly in Amazon Prime India. Now, ‘Bhramam’ also joins the list.

Prithviraj plays the role of pianist who fakes being blind in ‘Bhramam’. Raashi Khanna, Mamta Mohandas, Unni Mukundan and others play prominent roles in the film.

Ace cinematographer Ravi K Chandran has directed the movie apart from handling the cinematography. Jakes Bejouy is the music director, while Sreekar Prasad is the editor. The film is produced by AJ International. ‘Andhadhun’ has also been remade in Telugu and Tamil as ‘Maestro’ and ‘Andhagan’. ‘Maestro’ was released in Disney Hotstar recently and is getting getting good response all over. The release details of ‘Andhagan’ are yet to be revealed.
