In spite of the Government giving permission to screen films in theaters across Karnataka, Kannada film producers are still waiting for a suitable time to release as there is a fear of the third wave of Corona all over. Moreover, the permission is limited only for 50 percent audience and the producers are waiting for a green signal from the Government to screen for full house, for which it will take another one month’s time.

Meanwhile, Producer Jayanna of Jayanna Films has announced that he will be releasing his latest film ‘Bhajarangi 2’ starring Shivarajkumar on the 10^th of September during the Ganesh Festival season. As there are no biggies lined up for release, ‘Bhajarangi 2’ will be the first big film of the season and many more biggies are likely to follow the film.

‘Bhajarangi 2’ has been in the making for the past two years and most of the shooting for the film was completed even before the first lockdown. The team completed the remaining portions of the film and had announced to release the film in May this year. However, due to second lockdown the film’s release has been postponed to September 10^th.

‘Bhajarangi 2’ is the fourth collaboration of Shivrajkumar and Jayanna after ‘Bangara S/O Bangarada Manushya’, ‘Mufti’ and ‘Rustom’. The film is being directed by A Harsha and stars Shivarajkumar along with Bhavana Menon, Shivaraj K R Pete, Shruthi, ‘Bhajarangi’ Loki and others. Arjun Janya is the music composer.
