Akshay Kumar’s much anticipated film ‘Bell Bottom’ was released on the 19th of August in theaters across the world. But the film got a poor reception from the audiences due to the fear of the pandemic. Now the film is all set to stream in Amazon Prime from the 16th of September.

Earlier, it was said that the film will stream online after two weeks of the film’s theatrical release. However, the theaters demanded more time as the audience won’t come to the theaters if the OTT release date will be announced. So, the team had not announced the OTT release date.

Now Akshay Kumar has announced through his Twitter handle, that the film will be releasing on the 16th of September in Amazon Prime.

The film is an action thriller which revolves around the hijacking of Indian Airlines flight IC 691. Film stars Akshay Kumar as RAW agent whose code name is Bell Bottom. Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi are seen in other prominent roles. ‘Bell Bottom is directed by Ranjit M Tewari. The film is written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Sheikh. The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jacky Bhagnani and Nikhil Advani.
