‘Dolly’ Dhananjay’s maiden production ‘Badava Rascal’ helmed by debutante director Shankar Guru is all set to release on the 24^th of September. The actor himself took to twitter account to announce the release of the film on Thursday.

Just after the release of ‘Tagaru’, Dhananjay announced that he will be venturing into production and will be producing a film called ‘Badava Rascal’ under his Dolly Pictures banner. Though the shooting for the film started two years ago, the film was delayed due to lockdown. Just after the completion of the first lockdown, the team completed the remaining portions of the film.

Now the post-production of the film has also been completed and Dhananjay is looking forward for the release of the film. As it is Dhananjay’s first solo hero film after ‘Tagaru, the actor wants to release with proper promotion and has teamed up with KRG Connects and KRG Studios, which will be not only promoting the film, but also will be releasing the film across the state. Dhananjay has just announced the release date of the film and will be kick starting the promotions of the film soon. The film stars Dhananjay along with Amrutha Iyengar, Guruprasad and others in prominent roles. Vasuki has composed the music, while Preetha Jayaraman has handled the cinematography.
